About Beefjack Promote

BeefJack Promote is a full-service indie games marketing agency based in London, England.

Offering integrated marketing across press, social, digital, events and more, the agency was started in 2012 with the vision of assisting indie game developers and studios reach greater audiences and to market their games.

Since then, BeefJack Promote has devised and executed promotional campaigns for over 100 indie game titles.

Beefjack is partnered with The Koppel Project, as part of its community outreach program.

Mark Pilkington

Publicity & Brand Manager

With decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Mark has played more video games than you can waggle a joystick at, having began his career writing for SegaPro magazine, before contributing to tomes as Maximum PC, The Daily Express and Stuff magazine. Mark also knows a thing or two about the silver screen, having interviewed some of Hollywood’s biggest names, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise. A veritable fountain of pop culture knowledge and irrelevant facts, he is a superstar when it comes to kitchen parties.


Will Jackson

Creative & Digital Campaign Manager

After studying Fine Art and Art Theory, Will’s creative career really started as an Arts and Events Coordinator while he trained in graphic design. After working at ITV as a Researcher and Graphic Designer, Will joined a leadership and engagement company, collaborating with the likes of Adidas and Time-Out magazine, before heading up UK wide TV, radio and outdoor ad campaigns for the hugely successful government scheme Start Up Loans. A man of many talents, Will is also a published author, so far having put his quill to crime and horror novels Red Light, Slasher and Demons. He's a massive Resident Evil fan and loves adventure and horror games.


Claudio Ventrice

Social Media Executive

With an MSC in Sport Management and Marketing - including a dissertation on Social Media - and after working as a social media manager for a physiotherapist clinic, Claudio has experience in managing social media platforms and building online communities from the scratch. He is FIFA and NBA 2k obsessed, with a passion for mobile games such as Score! Hero, Pokemon Go and Candy Crush.


Zoran Stepanovic

Chief Operating Officer

A qualified chartered accountant with over 15 years of experience, Zoran studied Economics and Politics at Bath University. He has worked for creative tour de force Philippe Starck at Yoo, a design and architecture services company, a Bio-Science Consultancy as a Financial Director and new tech company Bid Data Partnership. A specialist with entrepreneurial start ups, rumours that Zoran spends his weekends working on the secrets of alchemy are strictly unfounded.


Wahid Omer

Managing Director

Wahid honed his skills working within the publishing and television industries for the first decade of his career, including working as Group Advertising Manager at a contract publishing agency, and as Head of the UK for a Global Television Network broadcasting to over 500 million daily viewers. 2011 saw Wahid cross over into the mobile marketplace where he worked with some of the biggest names within the mobile gaming industry, including Clash of Clans, Candy Crush and the Bubble Witch Saga.
